Health examinations and surgery in Latvia
Your pre-operative tests are completed at Sigulda Hospital the day before surgery. Then your procedure is performed by two certified bariatric surgeons in an EU-regulated hospital - safely, professionally and with care.
Recovery and follow up
You spend four days recovering under medical supervision at Sigulda Hospital. When you return home, our support continues with a 3-month programme with our UK-based bariatric dietitian and support and check-ins from the Weight Loss Latvia team.

Ilva has supported international bariatric patients since 2010, guiding approximately 1,000 patients through treatment in Latvia. She has a background in Human Physiology and is a licensed Bariatric Success Habits Instructor.

Dr. Olegs Kozlovskis
Dr. Kozlovskis has more than two decades of surgical experience and leads the surgical department at Sigulda Hospital. He specialises in laparoscopic and bariatric procedures since 2009, including gastric sleeve, gastric bypass, mini gastric bypass and revision surgery.

Dr. Juris Zarinovs
Dr. Zarinovs is a highly experienced general, laparoscopic and bariatric surgeon. He has practised laparoscopic surgery since 1994 and has specialised in bariatric surgery since 2007, performing gastric sleeve, gastric bypass procedures, mini gastric bypass and revision surgery.
